Live And Dangerous!

 

Thin Lizzy were one of the best rock bands ever! This lens showcases some of their live performances on video. Lizzy's twin guitar sound was distinctive and with the charismatic Phil Lynott on vocals they were asssured success.  Although famous for their heavy rock guitar sound, Thin Lizzy's Irish roots have always been evident in their melodies and Lynott's soulful singing. Lizzy's sound (1969-1984) was influenced by several guitarists including Eric Bell, Brian Robertson, Scott Goram, Gary Moore, Snowy White and John Sykes. However, they were always supported by the solid rythmn of Phil Lynott on bass and Brain Downey on drums. Lynott'songwirting and melodic driving bass lines are the main reasons for Thin Lizzy's success. See my Phil Lynott lens for more.
