Written by Bob Marley & The Wailers in 1977. A cut off their Exodus album. Yet it wasn't released as a single till 1980. Peaking the charts at 17 in England. To this day it remains one of his most popular songs.

Marley said, "The three "Little Birds," was in reference to his band, the Wailers back-up vocalists. Marcia Griffiths, Judy Mowatt, and Rita, Bob's wife, who formed the trio called, I Threes.
