Custom tile work is an interesting and sometimes frustrating endeavor. Getting those tiles to lay flat can be a hair pulling challenge. Here is a collection of info and resources to help you meet the challenge of making tile that behaves. Happy Tiling.

The Tiles

Tile can be more than just squares to cover the bathroom wall. Making custom tile from clay can be a great new challenge for the clay worker to master. Tiles can go on the floor, the wall, a table top, in the garden, in the house, in a public spot or in a private secret place, they can even go on that bathroom wall.

Don't limit yourself to squares, get off the grid, make a puzzle out of your tile. Not only use the tile as a design element but the lines in between as a important design feature of your masterpiece.
