Wooden Garden Furniture & Greenhouse Staging

Gardens are popular ways to relax outside, especially on a hot summers day, but nobody wants to sit on walls that are uneven or rest a cool beer on the grass with a chance of spillage. Garden Furniture can help this, and this lens looks at some of the best items for your garden that are out there.

Greenhouse Staging

Greenhouse Staging are ideal for greenhouses. They are light, resistant to the elements and offer high tabletop capacity for use as a worktable or potting bench.

Furthrmore, they can be used in greenhouses, sheds, garages or even outside, as the timber used for the creation of these benches is resistant to rain and wind, even without treatment.

They come in two styles. The first is a folding style for smaller benches, which easily fold out to form a table, and folded away just as easy. Ideal for smaller greenhouses and those who don't require a permanent table.

The second style is heavy-duty greenhouse staging. These require assembly, but that's easy, and is made out of tanalised timber. These heavy duty staging makes it virtually rot-proof, and it should last you 15 years without painting or treating it. These are a lot larger and sturdier than the regular folding greenhouse staging, but are harder to store than the folding greenhouse staging. As such, it becomes a permanent fixture of any shed, garage or greenhouse, and suitable for larger storage areas or serious gardeners.

Wooden Garden Furniture

This lens recommends Wooden Garden furniture as your garden furniture for a number of reasons. Firstly are ethical reasons. Garden furniture made out of a renewable resource is a good thing, as opposed to plastic garden furniture which can't be recycled. Secondly, although slightly more expensive than plastic garden furniture, they are a lot more durable, with a higher build quality and generally last longer than plastic furniture. They also a lot more comfortable than plastic or metallic garden furniture.

But the other reason is because there's thousands of different woods, you can get a variety of durability and weight with the different woods.

Cane Garden Furniture

Cane Garden Furniture is a bit of a strange name, as cane isn't the right furniture for gardens, as in an unnatural, untreated state, cane struggles against the elements. However, Cane furniture is ideal for conservatories, as it is lightweight and more suitable for dealing with hot, dry conditions. It is not any trouble for anybody to move furniture around to follow the sun, so it's great for this use. It can even be moved outside on a fine summers day, or for a barbecue.

Teak Garden Furniture

Teak Garden Furniture is made from Teak, one of the most popular garden furniture construction material, and with good reason. It has a high natural oil content, which not only gives it a light brown colour, but also more importantly it acts as like a natural protective coat, which means it needs little - if any treatment. It is a very durable material as well, and not too heavy to lift around. Ideal for patios, and other areas of the garden.
