2008 Lowe's Time Trial Series.
Welcome to my Time Trial Series lens. This will be my first full year of riding in the series. I had the privilege of riding in the last event of the year in 2007. It proved to be a fun yet challenging night.
The Time Trial Series at Lowes is put on by the Carolina Cycling Time Trialing Association. (CCTTA) and sponsored by Endurance Magazine. The series consist of ten events Through out the year. The event is open to riders of all experience levels. They even allow family and kids to ride in the early time slots.
Generally as the night progresses so does the speed of the riders.
I consider myself a newbie to time trialing. Over the winter I spent quite a bit of time training indoors at Cool Breeze Cyclery in Mooresville, NC. They hosted a series of indoor training events using their CompuTrainers. The training focused on endurance, hill climbing, time trials and power pedaling.
This time trial season will be a learning season for me. I do expect to get better each and every ride. This lens will serve as a site to track my progress, times, equipment reviews and tips. Hopefully I will be able to grab some track photos and videos and share them on the lens as well.

The Giant Trinity should give me all the aero factors that one would need out of a bike. It should be a fun bike to ride. For someone in their first full year of Time Trialing, this should be a good bike and will allow me to get my feet wet before upgrading wheels to ZIPP or Mavic next year.
