Tina Maze was born May 2, 1983 in city Slovenj Gradec, Slovenia. Tina Maze is a Slovenian alpine skier and has 7 World Cup victories. Six of them in the Giant Slaloma. On February 2008, she won downhill (in St Moritz) also, wich was her first in career and also first Slovenian female downhill ever). On top of that, she has won with starting nuber 47, wich is highest sturting number to win the race ever.
This year she has won Giant slalom in Her home country, Slovenia. She won Golden fox in Maribor on January 10th.

In italian city Cortina d'Ampezzo, where next race was scheduled, Tina Maze again won podium by finishing on third place. Another great result. But even more interesting was her comment on FIS - she opened her sports suit and showed her bra where it was written: "Not your business".

Beautiful skier from Crna na Koroskem - Slovenia, started with the number 22 as the last of the best. With extrem precision and fast driving she came second. The 26-year old Tina Maze was only behind Austrian Andrea Fischbacher for 49 hundredths. She beat American Lindsey Vonn in third place for a quarter of a second.

Tina Maze wins on Pohorje - Maribor - Golden Fox 2009
Tina Maze is the main reason for today's fairy tale under the Pohorje at the 45th Golden Fox Trophy. The Slovenian champion placed herself onto the second place with a start number 20 behind the Italian, Denise Karbon, but in the second session attacked with compromising to place herself onto the top. For Maze, after 2005, this her second victory at the Golden Fox Trophy races, her seventh in the World Cup. Second was Denise Karbon, third was Kathrin Hoelzl, after being fourth in the first run.

She won allready 20 races and her first win was in Norway city Drammen in individual sprint 1 km classic style. That was on 6 March 2006.
This year, 2010, she allready won three races as a part of Tour de Ski: twice in Oberhof and once in Val di Fiemme.
