There are many different ways to get rid of pimples. Not everything works for everybody. You have to sort of experiment and see what helps for you.

If your hair is long try to keep it away from your face. Hair can have some oil on it.

You could get some salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide at the drug store. Take a piece of sterile gauze and dab some of it gently on the pimple.

Get some gel, cream or lotion to put on it. Whenever you apply any remedy on your face be sure you do not rub, but dab it gently.Your best bet is to get some product that has Aloe Vera in it.

Wash you hands often and try not to touch your face unnecessarily.

Using apple cider vinegar seems to help some people. Again, apply it very carefully, using a cotton swab or gauze. Don't touch it with your hands or fingers, even though you have washed them beforehand.

Wash your face with a soft face cloth and a mild, skin friendly soap. Do not scrub your face but wipe it gently with the face cloth.

Rinse with lukewarm water after you've washed it.

If you work at a job where you're in contact with oil frequently, for instance a gas station, or a fast food restaurant wash your face immediately after coming home from work and apply some of the salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide..

When using salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide, use it sparingly. If you use too much it will dry out your skin.

One thing that will relieve the inflammation and the burning feeling is using an ice pack. the best way to do this is to hold it against the pimple for approximately 2 minutes. Take it away and repeat this every half hour for maybe 2 hours. It will reduce the swelling

All those things I mentioned so far are really just tips on how to keep your acne under control.
