I first made this site for finding jobs, as that was my focus at the time for myself.

where you can see how I am setting up my business.

I have since found that working for other people will never make you independent of them or anyone else for that matter.  If you want to become financially independent, then you need to be independent.

I was working as an insurance agent for a major company.  I enjoyed, worked hard to get my license and to keep it going.  But I was not getting anywhere as far as financial growth, as I worked for another agent.

I guess, I am going through a bit of a midlife crisis, but I just couldn't stand working there anymore.  I had to get out on my own...and that I did.

It was not easy at first, I didn't have much money, had no savings, and had to rely on my children for help.  But then, I found out about Need An Article, who hired me and I started getting some paychecks for writing.  But I was still a bit frustrated that I still was not totally on my own.

Now, I can say that I am a feelance writer with a business that is growing and this has only happened within 2 months time.  I would have progressed even faster if I had known what I know now.

There are so many great tools that have helped me and I know these will help you too.  Give them a try, give yourself a chance to grow, to do something that you have always wanted to do.

If you want to be a writer, then learn everything you can get your hands on.  I will be posting the programs that have really helped me as well as some great tips that I have learned through this.

I hope you come along with me, we can do this together.

Have A Blog? Make Money Now!

Your Blog Can Make You Money Daily!

Do you have a blog, or do you know someone who has one? Does their blog make money ? You need to see The Niche Blogger - Make Money Blogging

Visit www.TheNicheBlogger.com
What is a blog?

A blog is a little bit of space that you can call your own, a spot to write about things you are interested in, put up pictures of friends and family, a lot like a public journal.

How does a blog make money ?

You will not be writing about personal things on this blog, you will be choosing topics that interest you, it can be on any topic you choose. The more blogs you have have on different topics, the more money you will make. Keep each blog focused on its own topic, if not, you will have a confusing mess.

How To Choose A Topic?

I suggest you first make a list of your own hobbies and interests, you can share your own experience in your blogs.

OK, now that you have a topic, how does your blog make money?

Let's say you love dogs and have a bit of experience training your own dogs. You will use 'dog training' as your topic. You will write blogs about anything from potty training a dog to dog tricks. You may have some great dog food recipes, or how to deal with problems such as chewing furniture.

The first way your blog makes money is through Google Adsense. This is a program that is offered by Google, which pays you to display their ads which will be related to your topic.

This is only a flash in the pan when it comes to all you can learn to really have your blog make money. You can find out so much more at The Niche Blogger, where I have personally learned how to be a successful niche blogger.

You want to be successful working at home?

I have 5 great tips to help you do just that!

1.Check your attitude! Are you ready to succeed, or will you give up after a couple of weeks because you have not made your fortune. Keep a positive attitude, realize that you will have failure, everyone does. But you can learn from it, dust yourself off and move on with new wisdom.

2.Think as a business owner - You are no longer working for someone else. You are writing your own paycheck and making sure that you show up for work. You will need to be disciplined to stay on task of making your business work for you.

3.Learn, learn, learn! You will need to learn how to run a home business. You may have a product to sell, or a service to offer, but those need to be managed. As you progress, you will find what works and doesn't work. Maintain focus on what does work.

4.Find a mentor - Look for someone who is successful in your field, learn from them, draw upon their knowledge. I am not referring to those who will charge you your first years wages to learn from them, but look for those that are willing to teach and share without getting something in return.

5.Do something you love! If you are passionate about it, then you will stick with it. You will find ways to make it work, and your enthusiasm will be infectious and will draw support and success your way just because you are excited about it.

No matter what background you have, if you have a high-school education or a Masters Degree, you can start off with a lot of money in the bank, or nothing at all like me. You can be married or single, short or tall, it makes no difference in your ability to succeed.. You can do it if you set your mind to it and just believe you can do it!
If you don't believe in yourself, no one will.

What About Working from Home for Yourself?

I am now a ghost writer full time

I have been thinking for a long time about quitting my job, and now I have finally accomplished this goal and have taken up writing full time. I have always had the dream of writing and I have never really loved going to work. I am more of a creative type person and really enjoy being my own boss. I think that is why I tried so many MLM's in my past. Just so you know, they didn't work for me. I was in the greater percentage of those that fail.

But I am here now, after selling insurance for 4 years. I have given that up and now doing article writing. If you are looking for someone to write articles for your websites or to advertise, give me a try. I am very affordable and will do a great job.

Good Days Along with the Bad Days

Remember, this is not an overnight business

I have been working so hard, writing, writing, and doing even more writing. I know and have learned the key to making this a successful business is to write as much as you can for as many people as you can.

It is important to let others know, even though you start out as cheap labor, that you have the ability to write. I have written over a thousand articles in the past couple of months, and have I improved? Yes, I have. Am I am making more? I hope so! I am to a point now where I have a great confidence in myself and my writing, but it has taken me a while to get to this point.

I have been reading everything I can find, I ask questions from those who are smarter than I am. I have joined every writing blog site online it seems, to help me to learn and improve my own skills.

I have found that this is non-stop learning process. And as I learn, I progress. I am actually getting testimonials now of my writing which is a great accomplishment for me.

I admit, there are days that I just want to quit and go back to a 9 to 5 because this is a lot of hard work. But then I remember how much I love to write versus going to my old job.

I have a lot of bad days, and so will you. Just hang in there, we can both do this! It helps so much to have the support of others who believe in you and your talent.

Don't be ashamed to ask for advice, or even some help everyone now and then...and just to have someone to talk to, help you get out of your slump, put you back on top of your game.

You can do this, I can do this! We are writers, and this is what we love. Why not make a living at doing something that we love!

Some Common Mistakes

What Should You Do?

There are so many people out there searching for jobs, the competition is fierce. There are some common mistakes that are made but there are ways to avoid them.
1. Jumping into a job search too quickly. Wait till your emotions are more in check.
2. Don't hang out in the "old office".
3. Do Not rely on job recruiters. Informal networking is the best way to land a new job. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't use these agencies, just rely on your efforts, not theirs.
4. Networking incorrectly. Networking does not mean calling your friends and business aquaintences to ask them for a job.
5. Relying on your resume'to get you in the door. 'Click Here! for a great guide on resume's.
6. Going in for an "informal" chat and asking for a job.
7. Not maintaining your network. You should be building up a network of contacts.
8. Not preparing for the interview. Be prepared for your interview.
9. Unprepared for rejection.

The best time to start preparing for the job hunt is while you still have a job. No one is totally secure in their job, so be prepared just in case.

First Person to Be Interviewed For the Job

Rarely Gets the Job

Have you ever been the first person interviewed for a job? Well, I have and guess what? I didn't get the job. The main reason is that the interviewer rarely remembers the first person he interviewed.

Okay, so how do you avoid this? Pay attention to the options they give you to come in. Is it first thing in the morning on a Monday? Don't take it! If you have your choice, tell them Wednesday would work best for you. And ask them when the latest appointment is available, then take it.

Make sure you always call the person that interviewed you that thank them for the opportunity and for their time, then maybe say a little something that you didn't discuss in the interview.

In a few days later, mail a letter to the interviewer, this works just as another reminder of who you are. Good luck!

Do You Want To Be A Freelance Article Writer?

How Do You Get Started In Article Writing?

Writing is something that anyone can do, whether you think you can or not, if you have an imagination, you can write. Getting started in writing is actually pretty easy. The first thing I did was joined a site called "Need An Article" and I was paid for every article I wrote. There are members who request an article for a certain topic, and I was able to choose which topics I liked to write about. I had 24 hours to complete my article, once completed, I was paid.

The pay mind you was not terrific, but it was a good way to get my foot in the door and learn the ropes. I was able to learn what clients were looking for as far as quality and interest.

Article writing is like talking, except you type it instead of say it. We all have something that we are interested in, something that we are skilled at.

This is what you are going to write about, something that you are passionate about. I am writing about "writing" because that is something I love and do a lot of.

I want others to be able to work from home, earn a little bit of money and enjoy what they do.

- Choose a topic or niche you are familiar with.

What do you like to read about, what are your hobbies and interests? When you talk to a friend, what do you typically talk about? These give you some good ideas of what to write about.

- Keywords and Keep It Interesting

When you are writing, imagine the person you are writing to, picture someone that you can talk to easily and write how you would talk. Don't forget to paint pictures with your words; you want to express your feelings and emotions if called for.

Keywords are important to sprinkle throughout your article; this is what keeps it on top in the search engines. Do your keyword research and make them relevant to the article.

- Be helpful, offer something.
Your article writing should be something that is of value, some type of "how to" information, or some sage advice through your wisdom and experience.

- Keep writing!
Make you known as an author, an expert in your niche or product. Keep articles coming, let there be information bursting at the seams from your desk.

- The Ever Important Resource Box.

Your Resource Box is your calling card, your advertising space in your article writing. Don't forget to include your contact information, web address and link to your website if you have one.

I know you can write however, you need to just put yourself in gear and do it. You may want to write a few notes, keep a notepad with you for the "aha" moment that hits you while standing in line at the grocery store. But do it, you will be amazed where it takes you.
