Tiredness Symptoms

Don't Ignore Them!

Tiredness Symptoms

I know you don't need me to tell you if you're tired or not, but sometimes we can convince ourselves that we're fine, when really we're not.

As well as feeling very tired (obviously), you may have other tiredness symptoms such as:

Road rage and general irritability - although you probably didn't notice this as you thought it was everyone else behaving really stupidly lately.

Cravings for sugary and salty food is one of the most common tiredness symptoms and yet is often overlooked. Your body is telling you that it is low on fuel. I bet if you sat down and thought about it you'd realise that your rushed meals that are not nutritious.

Weight gain or weight loss. When you're rushing round like you have a rocket up your bottom you can gain weight from lack of nutrition and rest, or you can lose weight. Neither is good, and if your weight has changed this is a sign to stop how you're living and decide how you can change things.

Your skin is not as good as it should be. It could be dry, oily, spotty, or just plain dull. You look in the mirror first thing in the morning and you don't look that good. Unfortunately it gets your day off to a bad start. This is one of the tiredness symptoms that gets ignored as we put it down to the effect of the weather on our skin, or just getting old.

There are lots of things that you can do to help tackle these tiredness symptoms, but today I want you to take a short while by yourself to think about what exactly is going on in your life right now.

I want you to make a list of all the good things in your life right now, and all the things that are just plain hard work. If it's a person it's okay to write down that they're hard work, it doesn't mean that you don't love them.

The next part is - what are you going to do about it? Pick one thing/person on your 'hard work' list and think of a way that you can make a change in that area to lessen the burden on yourself. I know that you'll be reluctant to do this but what is going to happen to you if you don't? Is your list of tiredness symptoms going to get even longer until you finally become very ill?

Please do this one thing for yourself today

Good luck

Kate
