Gold Star
Lenses by a Giant Squid
Gold stars are added to lenses by a giant squid to show that they come up to the standard of the Giant Squid requirements. All lenses by a giant squid have a gold star.It looks like Gold stars are being withdrawn, with the addition of the new Giant100 badge. A pity - I liked the gold stars!
Purple Star
The best of Squidoo
The Purple stars are awarded for the best lenses on Squidoo. I have been very lucky and gained five My Purple Star lenses
The quality badge for Giant squid lenses
I have five purple stars, the first two were awarded for the lens Longitude on the 1st May 2009 and the lens Madeira on 8th May 2009.-

A showcase for the Giant Squids
All the new giants were asked to submit something about their lenses. I decided to submit a piece on the Willard Price series of lenses, at that point my most ambitious project on Squidoo.Kab Fab's Squid Squad
Working towards the Top 100
I've joined Kab Fab's Squid squad to take part in the Top 100 club challenge. The idea is to produce the most lenses you can that qualify for the Top 100 club before June. The team with the most lenses wins, and each team can select an MVP.Kab Fab's Top 100 team won! We produced a total of 221 lenses for the challenge.
I was also very honoured to get the MVP badge below, as voted for by the Squid Squad!
