All around great product, picture and sound quality is excellent. Easy set up, especially when using internet instead of phone line. Features and ease of use so much better than comcast dual tuner dvr(was happy to return it to comcast) Having comcast install a cable card lets you get rid of the cable box and it saves you money, only $1.50 a month for the card. Connected to internet lets you download movies from netflix, amazon, youtube videos, and now blockbuster. Not a better dvr on the market especially with the amount of recording space on this one.

This is the most awesome piece of electronic equipment I've ever purchased. The setup was easy and the manual is clear and easy to read. The best part is the excellent picture quality and the HD capacity. We already have tons of HD shows in storage and there's room for lots more. If you're thinking about buying the XL, just do it. You won't be disappointed.

I have had tivo for many years now. After many long years of faithful service my old tivo finally gave out. I used the cable company's DVR as a replacement for a few months and have bean wanting my tivo back! When my birthday came around I knew what I wanted. I am amazed at all the new upgrades since my first generation Tivo.

The quality is great. Way better than the HD on my cable box. I love the new Netflix streaming and being able to transfer my TV shows to my ipod is awesome.
