What do your lenses tell the world about you?

Welcome to my lensography! A lensography is a way for a lensmaster to learn about themselves by exploring whether their Squidoo contributions can be categorized. Do your lenses try to sell products or share knowledge? Which of your lenses are you most proud of? This is my attempt to see what I might learn about myself by reviewing my Squidoo contributions.

Computer Security

I like to improve computer security by building lenses which help to educate others on the topic. Do your lenses help teach others?

Technology Lenses

I like to tinker with technology. Is your house automated yet? Do you have 6 times more computers than kids?

Creativity

How can we stay creative?

I study creativity by reading books on the topic. We must follow our hearts and fight against conforming to others. Despair.com has a poster which helps remind us, "When people are free to do as they please, they usually imitate each other". So be yo...

I like to build stuff to prove to myself that I am creative

I like to build competition rockets, competition robots and wind chimes. We can learn a lot about ourselves by exploring and trying something new. If we like what we have found, it may become a new hobby. Here are three that I enjoy.

I like flying gliders, helicopter and kites.

Maybe I was a bird in a past life (I'm getting better).

I have now flown a glider and a helicopter. Paragliding may be next. I find gliders very graceful and they help me appreciate how chaotic the atmosphere is, even on a clear day. Helicopters are much noisier, but fun to fly.

People I Admire

Below are a few of the people I admire. I appreciate their work and contributions to society.

Bad Habits

It takes someone else to let you know what your bad habits are.

Muscle cars and alternative music are my bad habits that I am willing to admit too. Well those and spending a lot of money on Legos for my kids and I.

Odds and Ends

When I am not busy reading non-fiction, I am probably watching a science fiction movie or keeping my lenses up to date.

Very cool site! I noticed the mac preference and the industrial section! I love mac, and my wife actually DJ's industrial, goth, ebm, so it was great to see someone from school who's familiar the music! Looking forward to getting to know you in the practicum program!

Cool site, first I've heard of squidoo, honestly. Dig it! All kids do legos! Spent about 10 minutes checking it out. Will have to come back when I have more time. Look forward to meeting you. Your MSCT620 classmate, Dario.
