What Are Toe Socks?
A toe sock looks a bit like a regular sock, but each toe has an individual compartment. If you think about handwear, toe socks are like gloves, while regular socks are like mittens with all of the digits next to each other.
Toe socks were originally invented in the wild 1970's, with most toe socks having all of the colors of the rainbows. After the 70's toe socks quickly and quietly died.
But more recently toe socks have returned not only as a fashion statment but as a clothing article designed to help the feet. See the advantages of toe socks below.

Although the glovelike design of these socks felt a little odd at first, testers forgot about it once their shoes were on. The CoolMax inner lining and Lcra-and-nylon outer shell wick sweat well, and the anatomical five-toe design prevents friction between toes, resulting in fewer blisters overall.
