I Recommend "The Four Agreements"
This what I would say to a friend: If you are looking for a simple formula to follow and structure your life by "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Angel Ruiz is a book that can do that. It is a very popular book with people who are interested in self improvement that isn't complicated to understand or to follow the wisdom. Actually, if you can get the first agreement, the other three are going to fall into place in your life as you become impeccable with your word. Being impeccable with your word first starts with being honest with what you say to yourself. The Four Agreements are:
#1 Be Impeccable With Your Word.
#2 Don't Take Anything Personally.
#3 Don't Make Assumptions.
#4 Always Do Your Best.
Sometimes being disillusioned is the beginning of honesty!
