Say Hello! to the world!
You are beautiful and bright as what you are.
You can make a difference in this world.
You are the light and hope.
You are a star who send a joy and harmony into darkness.
Kill the devil, welcome the angel into your heart and spread through people.
You are the LOVE....

A little bit more about my art career
I was born in Gunma, really local residential area in Japan as a younger sister from a father who worked in engineering companies and a mother who dedicated whole career in public offices.I decided to be an artist when I was about 13 years old.My father was furious about my choice. Because nobody related to art in my relatives.
All we knew was starving artists whose works are sold only after their death.
Anyway, I head on to art career.
Firstly I joined private art school at age 15. The deal with my mother was to earn the half the cost of the schooling. It was banned to get a job from high school but I took a job in a restaurant anyway.
And in holiday season, I joined private art school in Tokyo, which was the life changing experience for me. It was most competitive place I've ever been so that I was so absorbed to train myself to be the top of them.
Luckily, I could pass the entrance exam at the first attempt to the fashion course in Musashino Art University but I really wanted to gain the very best technique from the private school, so I decided to remain another year-which was very unusual and against the purpose itself of the school though.
And the following year,I went to Visual Communication Design Course in Musashino Art University, Tokyo in 1996.
At 2000, I went to London Film School. I've played a part of art department mostly but also directed and edited actually done everything about filming. But I left the school after 1 year and hanging about the school and joined some filming and start exhibited my art works around London.
And for the final education, I've chosen MA in Photography in University of Sunderland, UK 2006.
I failed to finish the course to MA but I got Scuba diving license instead.
With my wide range of experiences I refurbished a restaurant in London with full of mural paintings, also worked for an animation as an artist/illustrator and collaboration with Walt Disney on a Tote bag project.
What's next?
Tomomi's creative empire
Knowing thyself
When I act upon the uncertain urge coming from within, I feel a lot of denial, condemnation, and stress toward myself.I feel I'm useless, arrogant idiot.
I feel I'm a loser. I made all wrong choices I could have made.
Still, I'm hopeful.
Listen to deep within, I feel rejoiced, enlightened happiest person I could think of.
I feel guilty to open up my own desire- Depending solely on my own.
But also I know that if I act acording to my intuition, my life will be playful in every way possible.

Art of Paper Craft - Kirie World.
I'm showing my Kirie Works here. Kirie is like a Stencil Cut. But the reverse. It's Very Traditional Japanese Art form technically. Very finely cut-out picture from a sheet of paper. And glue the image onto another piece of paper.Don't ask me who this is as I don't know.
It just came to my mind at the time all by accident.
Sometimes things are like that.
How I started my art world.
fearless journey to live my own life.
It was 2002 I left Film school in London, I wasn't sure to go any further the course. So I dropped out and wondered about for a while, and decided to have solo exhibition instead. Because Art was the only thing I could excel.
I contacted all galleries in London from Galleries listings. Some said, their gallery was booked 2 years advance. The other said my schedule was too tight that no gallery would be able to offer a space. But I was persistent to have an exhibition within a year.
After about a month or two search and apply, I got a reasonable tiny gallery in Nottiing Hill Gate next to Kath Kidson's store.
I didn't know how to price the work. So I bought a how to book which gave me a whole basic knowledge about presenting & handling art works.(Sorry, can't remember the title.)
I exhibited everything I made by the show.
The opening was 14th Feb 2003- Valentine's Day.
All people I knew gathered their friends for the opening. I got a call from a lady from gallery's mailing list that she wanted to reserve a work on my DM.
It was amazing. Just simply awesome.

Tomomi's All Time Favorite Books
Riverside '02- a series of KIRIE work
Top layer is Black cutout paper, painted on base paper with acrylics and laid bits of newspaper on the sky.
This was the first work of this series. And my favorite work at the time.It fascinated me that my favorite was sold at £750-the highest price on the show.
Dusk '05
Volume 2.This series express seasonal change to my eyes.
The image of summer heat and refreshing feeling.
From hereon, the work is related through 4 seasons. It's the way we recognise our life cycle.
Nostalgia '05
The pink is the top layer and oriantal paper and acrylics on he base.
Volume 3.3nd attempt.
Gone more imaginative constructure.
Quite spooky to me for some reason.
Cold Winter '05
Volume 4.4th attempt.
In the winter time, the air become ultra blue with amazing gradation in early evening.
I reflected the image on this picture.
Snow winter '05
White on top, black on bottom, gold dusty flakes all over.
Volume 5.5th attempt.
Look at the snow at night. Very bright and shiny.
Autumn '05
Volume 6.This was a hard rock. I cut out a thick transparency paper which was like a sheet of plastic and really hard to cut through. I thought I never do this again!
Spring '05
Volume lucky 7!Yes, I did have made another, This is the final for this series. Spring is the best time to make a departure. Sentimental season.
The season never stop.
Keep going on only to one direction.
The Art is about Living
Creation is Spontaneous Activity. That is a vibration, an energy, and beauty.
The power of insight, action & observation.
Art is as it is. Be aware what you are.
Shall We Dance Together?
Life is like a dance.Round round round....goes on and on and on until the music stop.
We have a choice what kind of dance group we'll join.
Passionate? Slow? Disco? Walts?
If your rhythm sync to techno, you'll attract techno people.
What dance shall we dance?

- LondonArt is uninhibited by fashion or reputation and aims to show as wide a range of work as possible. Since there are no space constraints in an online gallery, it is the ideal forum to develop this independent approach. LondonArt can allow more artists to show more of their work than could a traditional high-street gallery. Some 900 plus featured artists are exhibiting at the moment from around the world. Between them they have over 12,000 works on show.
