Are you willing to buy GPS?
All the GPS look fancy and great, but not all of them are so good as advertisers say. Today, I will try to uncover the truth for you, dear readers.
I will try to share my bad real life experiences with my GPS buys, I will also share the good ones, so you know, what path to choose.

What GPS system should I buy?
I can't decide, which GPS system to buy, can you help me?
I will not start telling some useless info about "how the GPS works" and similar like this, like many writers do, to increase their word count, as I suppose the majority of current readers already know what is GPS and approximately how it works (of course not all technical stuff). So, back to the topic. I experienced same problem as you reader 4 years ago. I needed to buy a GPS for my vehicle, but I just couldn't decide which one to get. They all were so fancy and shiny, I was just lost (and why Squidoo.com didn't exist then?).
So, I bought some random (don't even remember the name of that device) GPS system, which I liked for design. It was also more expensive than the others (and prices that time were not so low as they are now). And you know what, that GPS system, was a complete piece of garbage. It broke after 3 weeks of usage. The moral is: don't judge book by the cover.
Then I started searching something more better, and after a year I bought TomTom ONE series GPS system (it was 1st edition if I remember right). The design may be wasn't so good, buy hell, it did his job, it served me for almost two years, and even 1 problem with it. Now that I call quality. By the way, it's still working and it's lying in my garage.
Recently, I bought TomTom ONE 3rd edition. I am completely satisfied with the product. It serves me great. The one thing that amazed me in the new series (it wasn't included in 1st edition of TomTom GO ONE) that when you approach church or school, the TomTom alarmed me about that. Now that is amazing! I was like, "What's going on?".

The best thing, it controls driver when he exceeds allowed speed . I understand, not everyone may like this feature, but people, don't forget safety first.
A nice addition to the TomTom One (3rd Edition) is the ability to make your own map corrections. For example the city I live in recently shut down an existing department store and rebuilt a Super Center about a mile down the road about 3 months ago. Because of this recent change the Points Of Interest database had to be updated. I simply used the "Map Correction" feature to edit and move the existing Point Of Interest to its correct location on the map. Very convenient. The "Map Correction" feature also allows users to (Un)block A Street, Reverse Traffic Direction, Edit Street Names, Add Missing POI, and Report Other Errors.
There are tons of great features to discover. And if you can't decide which GPS system to buy, TomTom GO ONE 3rd edition is a definite "yes" for a beginner or a professional driver.
The choice is up to you!
P.S You might want to check out this store -
WeLikeGPS.com as I have bought all my GPS systems from that site and these are the best prices I could have found. They have discount GPS too.
