Tongue Kissing

Tongue kissing (aka French Kissing) is undoubtedly one of the pleasures of life. A tongue kiss is when one person's tongue touches the other person's tongue and enters his or her mouth.  Read on if you want to learn how to tongue kiss or improve your kissing technique.

The Pleasure of Tongue Kissing

Becoming intimate with someone is one of the most pleasurable experiences that you can have and tongue kissing is a huge part of that. The lips are one of the main erogenous zones of the body, and often one of the most neglected. French kissing is often not as all-consuming as it should be because individuals are all to keen to move from what is effectively foreplay to more physical acts, most commonly sexual intercourse. Tongue kissing should be passionate and considered an art in itself rather than just something you have to do to be able to move onto the next level.

Tongue kissing actually stimulates the mouth, most notably the lips and tongue. The more intense the use of the tongue and the more it is gently or aggressively used to probe the mouth, the more pleasure it can give an individual.

How To Tongue Kiss

  1. Take your time, breathe and relax. Enjoy the kiss and remember that you control the amount of pleasure both you and your partner will get out of the experience. Therefore a tongue kiss should never be hurried or initially move too quickly because the moment will otherwise pass you by.

  2. Lean into the kiss slowly

  3. Moisten your lips and slightly part them

  4. Tilt your head to one side so that noses and teeth do not meet head on and thus impede the initial lip-to-lip contact. Instead, your nose should touch your partner's cheek, which will also result in your mouths being able to mould perfectly together.

  5. Close your eyes when your faces are close to eachother

  6. After a few pecks on the lips, which should gradually become deeper, your mouth will begin to open involuntarily until your tongues start to touch.

  7. The perfect kiss will feature a few flicks of the tongue first before starting to probe deeper.

  8. After that, the rest of the kiss is up to you. You must find a way of tongue kissing that you are comfortable with and you and your partner will find your own level after a few practice kisses! Explore with your tongue and add some variety in what you do. Develop a feel for what your partner likes.

Common Kissing Mistakes And Tips

  • Brush your teeth! It's important to have a fresh breath. Make sure you have a good mouth hygiene and carry some mints with you. Drink enough water, a dry mouth is a stinky mouth. A cigarette smell can be a big turn-off.

  • Breathe! Remember to keep on breathing through your nose, so you don't need to gasp for air after a while

  • Keep your lips moist! Use a lip balm because licking your lips dries them out.

  • Look out for teeth accidents! Bumping into eachothers teeth can be painful

  • Participate! Don't let your partner do all the work, be active.

  • Use your hands! Gently take your partner's head in your hands, go through his/her hair or play with his/her ears

HIV From French Kissing

The uneducated members of society have long believed the widespread myth that you can catch HIV from tongue kissing. This rumor was perpetuated just after the world was alerted to the global presence of the sexually transmitted disease and at its root was the fear that exchanging any bodily fluids would leave you wide open to contracting the disease from individuals the were unlucky enough to have already been infected. However, this myth has no foundation in reality and is categorically untrue. You cannot catch HIV from tongue kissing.

The HIV virus has to come into contact with the blood stream in order for it to take and thus can be transmitted via blood, semen, vaginal fluid or breast milk, but not via saliva. There have been traces of the virus found in saliva but at such low levels that it would be virtually impossible to contract from French kissing.

The Kissing Disease

Infectious Mononucleosis or Glandular Fever is a disease you can catch by tongue kissing. Symptoms are fever, sore throat, enlarged lymph nodes (particularly those on both sides of the neck) and fatigue.
