My Experience with Tonsil Stones
My personal experience with tonsil stones began several years ago. I started to notice a funny taste in my mouth. I ignored it most of the time, but when it became really unpleasant I'd chew peppermint gum or brush my teeth. That seemed to help for a time, but the taste would always come back. Then a close friend mentioned that I had offensive breath odor. I know she was just trying to help me, but I was horrified and embarrassed and became incredibly self-conscious about it.
I tried every remedy for bad breath I could get my hands on but nothing seemed to help. During a routine check up visit with my dentist he mentioned that I had tonsil stones. I had no idea what he was talking about until he held a mirror in front of my mouth and told me to open wide. I was shocked to see small white spots all over the back of my throat. That's what was causing the funny taste in my mouth and the bad breath - I had Tonsilloliths.
I tried several different things to get rid of the tonsil stones including prescription mouth washes and nasal sprays. Nothing helped. I went to see a nose, throat and ear specialist who recommended a procedure to have the tonsil stones removed - it sounded great except it cost over $2000!
I finally reached a point where I believed the only solution was to save up the money for the procedure or live my life with Tonsilloliths. I was frustrated and growing tired of having to eat breath mints by the dozen to mask the offensive odor emanating from the tonsil stones.
Then one night when I was searching for another way to cover up my bad breath - I found this.It worked for me. For so long I felt so self conscious about my tonsil stones - I don't have to anymore.
I don't have tonsil stones at all anymore.
