We're Addicted to Squidoo

You know who you are. You family members roll their eyes whenever you mention Squidoo. Their eyes glaze over at the dinner table as you begin to tell them what you learned today during research for your latest lens. At a certain point, all Squiddicts have to succumb to the urge and build a lens like this one. My time has come.

Why is Squidoo So Addictive?

Squidoo gives me an opportunity to express my creativity and opinions. I love building lenses and watching them come together into a coherent message.

I read other lenses and learn about things that I didn't even know exist. The range of knowledge at Squidoo is phenomenal! I can browse the Top 100 on any subject and find new and interesting topics every time.

I've made some wonderful friends here. I know they're not friends in the traditional sense, but they tend to understand my Squidness because they are all tentacled, too. This group has provided support for its members through some amazing times, both good and bad.

Squidoo is a comfortable place for me, and it came to me at just a time when I really needed it.

    I have multiple addictions (Squidoo and eHow) so it's very conflicting to divide my time.

    Wow, Margo really is strongly addicted LOL Me? I can quit whenever I want ... no really, I can, honest. I don't panic when the connection goes down, not in the slightest, really, I don't, nor do I go around threatening violence on the modem until connection is re-established, oh no, I never do that.
    And doesn't everyone check their lenses before they go to the loo and/or put the kettle on in the morning?

    I am not addicted to Squidoo because I can stop whenever I want to, I just don't want to. I will stop after I get 75 lenses for my giant squid application, well actually there are some really neat perks in the 100 club, so I will want to quit then, but I am not addicted, no, not me.

    (Why is the dog chewing my toes, I fed him three days ago) Anyway, addiction is for weak people, I am just here because I want to be here.

    So there with your 5* lenses!!!! ;=p
