Best Gaming Mice Reviews

A good gaming mouse can dramatically improve your performance in FPS, RTS and other games which require precision and fast reaction. Find the best gaming mouse for your needs in our top ten gaming mice review.

When choosing a computer mouse for gaming, you should ask yourself the following questions:

What grip style are you using: palm, claw, or fingertip? This determines the size and shape of the mouse you should look for: palm grip users prefer bigger mice, while claw grip fingertip grip users like smaller, lighter ones.

What games are you playing mostly? MMORPG fans will probably want to get a mouse with lots of programmable buttons - like Razer Naga - to bind their skills and spells to. On the other hand, the two basic buttons and the scroll wheel are usually enough for RTS gamers.

What's your budget? If you don't have a lot of money to spend, don't despair - cheap gaming mice with an optical sensor often perform just as well as the expensive laser ones, although they aren't capable of as high maximum DPI.

I have the mad catz RAT and it really is an amazing mouse, it's comfy and all. Playing actions games and FPS like battlefield is a real pleasure, I love the ability to change the sensitivity on the fly, like when you're in the middle of a game and for example you change weapon so you need another sensitivity this mouse just allows you to do that ! And there is a mouse profile editor and tons of downloadable premade profiles for a wide range of games ! I really recommend it to hardcore players, or even graphic designer with the sensitivity button.

I seem to be the only one who doesn't enjoy the Deathadder. It seems a tad chunky for my liking a little lacking on grip.

I was a happy Naga user for a long time, but my dependecny on it made sudden out-of-home play sessions near impossible without it. I switched to a SteelSeries Kana after finding the MMO7 a little tough to hold but eventually went the way of the button-heavy Logitech G600 as a way to mourn the loss of tmy Naga.

I don't use the buttons half as much as I did with the Naga. And that's good. They get their uses, but I manage to avoid the dependacny again. It just had a couple of ergonmical issues setting it back.

If you're looking for a mouse for general gaming, I'd recommed the Corsair M60 or Steelseries Sensei - or the Kana if you're strapped for cash.

In MMO terms I'd recommend the Naga in a heartbeat.

The Logitech G400 would be perfect for my kid. Thanks for curating some really nice gaming mice in this lens.

I've tried a few. I found RAT 7 really unconfortable, even with the almost endless adjustments on it. On paper it's great but in my hand... well. I have the Razer Naga, most confortable thing I ever had. Just. Perfect. I learned to use the macro buttons on the side and I must say that in games such SC2 it's a great advantage. Also the 2012 model has 3 right side that you can change for the grip you prefer, palm, finger tips or claw. I also tried the Logitech G600 to replace it, Nice mouse, but the software that run it(similar to Synapse) is a buggy piece of crap. I needed to force close it for every button I remapped or color change applied. Returned it after 2 days to upgrade my 2.5yo Naga to a 2012 model. Don't change what is working they say...
