Stills/Illegal Stills/Thoroughfare Gap
2007 digitally remastered double CD featuring CSN' Stephen Stills' three mid-'70s studio albums recorded for CBS. This two disc set comes in a slimline double jewelbox housed in a slip case featuring extensive liner notes.
Can't Quit the Blues
This set makes the argument for Guy's ever-continuing growth as a musician--not only as a player whose frenzy, improvisational instincts, and tonal control keep stretching with age, but as a stylist who was unafraid to put aside his trademark electric approach in 2003 to make the acoustic Blues Singer and to embrace primal North Mississippi juke joint music with Sweet Tea.
The Guitar of John Fahey Volume 1
In this first DVD lesson, John offers insights to playing seven of his best known instrumentals.

Brian May Receives PhD
Appointed University Chancellor
Brian May, guitarist for British rock band, Queen, received his PhD in astrophysics more than thirty years after suspending his studies. May was awarded his degree from London's Imperial College in August of this year after completing his thesis entitled Radial Velocities in the Zodiacal Dust Cloud. May has also been appointed Chancellor of Liverpool's John Moores University and also recently received his honorary doctorate from Hertfordshire University.Teaming up with co-authors Patrick Moore and Chris Lintott, May has also released the new book BANG!: The Complete History Of The Universe.
BANG! Space, time, matter... the Universe was born 13.7 billion years ago. Infinitely small at first, it expanded more rapidly than anyone can contemplate. Brian May, Patrick Moore and Chris Lintott explain how all this came about, from that moment when time and space came into existence, to the formation of the first stars, galaxies and planets, and to the evolution of human beings able to contemplate our own origins and ultimate destiny.

Hey Big Jim, glad you have Tom Morello in the list as well, though at number 26. I love this guy and RATM, so political but too bad they broke up. Though he's in Audioslave now, I don't really listen to it. 5 stars. Thanks for visiting my lens too.
