Topsites are sites with a ranked listing of different websites, generally related by an overall subject. Topsite rankings are user generated, usually through voting by visitors (clicks in to the topsite) from member sites or by counting page views.

About The Top 100 Squidoo Resources
The Top 100 Squidoo Resources aims to be a good place to submit your squidoo resource lenses purely to gain additional traffic and promotion for your lenses. Not all lenses will be accepted though! Only Squidoo Resource lenses will be able to join this particular Top Site. By this, I mean lenses about how to promote your lenses, graphics for lenses, reviews of Squidoo marketing books or resources, Squidoo tips etc.
This top site will also be a an excellent place to find some of the best Squidoo resources in the Squidosphere. You'll be able to vote for your favourite lenses simply by clicking out to the lens. All lenses who are accepted into the Top Site will be able to either add a text link back to the Top Site or a graphic link (more images will be available soon.)
You can also submit your own banner image to the top site and the TOP 10 in the list will have their banner displayed.

How do I join The Top 100 Squidoo Top Site?
1 - Visit The Top 100 Squidoo Resources.
2 - Click on Add your Site at the top.
3 - Agree to the following rules: We do require a link back to us from somewhere on the site that you are submitting. Once you have submitted your site, you will be given linking instructions. Only submit sites that are on topic. Unrelated sites will be deleted. Please do not use ALL CAPS in your titles or descriptions. Please only submit sites that are in the English language. Sites that contain illegal content will not be accepted into our list. Sites that contain adult material will not be accepted into our list.
4 - Fill in the form: Your name, your desired log in name, the site name of the lens you would like to submit, the Lens URL, your email address, check whether you would like to receive top site updates, Confirm your email address, a password, description of your site, a link to your banner (if you have one), the banner height and width (leave these blank if you do not have a banner), enter the captcha letters. Phew!
5 - Click submit!
You should receive an email listing your log in details, site information etc. Log in to your account to get the linking code you need to insert into your lens. Your lens details will show up on the Top Site on the next update (30 mins.)
Providing that you followed the rules of the Top Site your lens will be approved, otherwise it will be deleted by me (admin) when I next log in.
Please note: I will check to see if you have added the image or text link! I will, however, give you time to add it but please, do add it as fast as you can. It will help your lens and my Top Site :)
How good do you think Top Sites are for promoting your lens or website?

I think they're a waste of time! No one clicks on them and they're hard to promote. What the hell is a Top Site anyway?
