Graffiti Debate

Is graffiti art or just vandalism?

Loading Fetching blurbs now... please stand by

It can be beautiful, inspiring art!

kunstvibe says:

definitely art. no question! but for sure not all of it.

hlkljgk says:

art

privresearch says:

If it's done right it can be great to some city walls

Close2Art says:

It's public art, don't trains look boring without it, I think of trains as travelling art shows...good artistic tags, not gang graffiti or profanity...any stencil work or other mural type is pure art...

It's nothing but simple vandalism

goo2eyes says:

if graffiti will be sprayed in public buildings and private houses, this is vandalism. they have to ask permission first before they spray.

Rewards4life says:

Yes it can be art and beautiful or portray a message like Banksys work but when people tag just for the sake of it then it gets a bit too much. I have gone for vandalism because I think the unnecessary out weighs the artistic. Just because you can write your name on something does not make people want to see it. Art is artistic.
