A Perfect combination of various Hidef features including Resolution, Aspect Ratio and Response times. The best product from Samsung I have ever had.

I bought a Playstation3 in the same week and BluRay DVDs are the best thing that could ever happen to Home entertainment. I am sure HD DVDs would serve the same purpose though.(thats an entirely different argument).

Here are certain features which make this Product one of a kind

1. Auto Motion Plus feature - Although this feature is not suitable for all kinds of viewing experiences, it is great for viewing Documentary videos on HiDefinition Channels or transmissions.

2. Game Mode Option - Great Display option available for Gamers wishing to get a Hi Definition Experience.

3. Swivel Stand - Not all LCD TVs out in the market have this option. It might not sound that great but believe me you would love this feature at times when you do not want to pause your TV while doing something else.

I have been researching to buy another hdtv for 2 months and have visited countless stores to view the different lcds. I am a samsung 26" 720p lcd owner since last august. I used it as a monitor and tv for the bedroom. Even though it was a display model but still had no problems at all. Needless to say, the quality of samsung convinced me.

During black friday, I bought the samsung 4661 for my mom, and tested it out. It was amazing for the price, but I wanted something better. That's when I turned my attention to either the 71 series or the Sony XBR4. Both had superb picture, Sony is a bit better PQ but has cloudiness issues as well as slower response rate during gaming. 71 series have triple ball effect and stuttering but less expensive. After looking through many reviews and waiting for the right price I took the plunge for the 4671.

I ordered the item on a monday, called on friday to schedule a delivery time and received it on saturday. Eagle was great, the delivery guys carried it all the way up the stairs and waited for me to turn on and check for everything. They offered to take the box but I kept it just in case there is a need to exchange or return.

Out of the box, the setting was way too bright. After couple of calibrations, the picture was perfect - one of the deepest black I have ever seen aside from pioneer plasmas. I used a regular hdmi cord before, and I immediately see some banding when I switch the different color background on the ps3. After I switched to hdmi 1.3a, they disappeared. I checked the firmware and saw it was 1009 so I was expecting TBE and stuttering. The TBE was there but very subtle during gaming, and it disappears completely when I turned on game mode.

The picture is amazing on blu-ray and gaming, but Standard definition requires a lot of calibration to get it just right. As for the AMP function, don't use it on standard definition, it's really bad. I use amp on low for movies and high for games, and both look amazing. Also, please be prepared for how wide this tv is. I'm glad I got the 46" instead of the 52". You need to sit around 8-10ft to have a comfortable viewing distance.

Since my purchase, the price has dropped 2 times, and I called amazon customer service both times. They refunded me the money within 5 mins each time. It's a real nice time to buy during now because there is a extended period of returns to the end of January just in case something goes wrong.

All in all, I love my tv, and so would you :)

An Incredible TV for the price ; Armando Perez
I was studying the purchase of the TV for over two months. I wanted to get a full HD 1080P, with a budget of around 2000 I knew a Plasma was out of my range. I was aiming at the 4665. But when I read about the issues with the firmware and the advantage of 120hz especially for gaming and fast motion scenes in movies. I went to a Local store the price was 3200. I check in Amazon 2432 with the 30 days price cut money back guaranty, I knew I could not go wrong. The best two LCD were the Sony XBR4 and the Samsung 4671. I took the 4681 out because it was to expensive and it had a new technology LED backlight, better for color black and brightness. But just like every new technology I was not sure how reliable was going to be. The only I was scare about this TV it was the shiny screen that reflect to much light during day time. and it does But its not a problem for me I watch movies at night most of the time.
The TV its beautiful, the design is just so pretty a lot better than the Sony with the big speakers to the side. The speakers on the Samsung are hidden on the sides. One of the best tv or the best for me in price. 2100 right now nobody cant beat that the Sony is at least 500 dollars more. I have the PC connected with DVI to HDMI and look wonderful. Any game I play its just amazing. I am in Love with this Tv and the PS3 and BlueRay movies. I think I could not got for myself a better gift for Christmas.
