The pricier LNT4665F offers a 15,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio compared to this model's 10,000:1 ratio, and also offers full 10bit video processing over this model's 8 bit system. The more expensive model should display finer gradients of shading making for more detail in darker scenes. The video processing difference should ensure smoother motion in fast moving scenes for the LNT4065F.

Video Processing
The Samsung Digital Natural Image engine (DNIe) Video Enhancer refines all analog NTSC and wideband video inputs for an overall improvement in picture quality. DNIe improves contrast, white level, picture detail and incorporates digital noise reduction to improve lower quality video inputs. The 3D Y/C digital comb filter constantly analyzes the three dimensions of picture height, picture width, and picture changes-over-time to dramatically reduce edge image artifacts while improving transition detail.

I have had my Samsung LN_T4661F television for over three weeks now. I am still learning to use the excellent features that are built into this wonderful set. However, so far the picture quality has exceeded all my expectations. Especially after I got it hooked up to the digital cable and the HD Receiver, the picture is simply incredible. I could have never imagined that a television could produce such a crisp and sharp picture of not only the HD channels but even the standard definition channels. Sound quality is acceptable. However I have a surround sound system and therefore it does not really matter to me how the built-in audio quality is.

My personal experience with the HDMI connection is somehow not very good. I hooked up the television and the Comcast digital HD Receiver using one HDMI connection and I used the second HDMI input on the Television to connect my Panasonic DVDVCR combo recorder. After working for a while, I started having a problem. In the middle of watching a program, the picture stopped coming and a message appeared saying it is not supported. I switched to the Component Vedio connections after that. To my surprise, the picture was better than when I had used the HDMI connection. I have left it at that for now. I would like to get an explanation of what might be happening from Samsung. I havent had the time to contact Samsungs technical support thus far. On the whole, in these three weeks of use of my LN-T4661F, my experience has been very positive and would unhesitatingly recommend this set as one of the best values for the investment. The other brands of televisions I considered before I decided in favor of the Samsung are the comparable models of Sony and
Toshiba. I found Samsung superior.

Received this awesome Tv this week. Easy to set up
and receives great HD pictures with just my antenna
It came with a Samsung DVD-R, no charge,plus the TV was sold at a great price.Did I mention free shipping! I did alot of research and this set always showed at or near the top in ratings. Everything came with-in 5 business days and arrived in excellent condition. Would recommend this set and Vanns to my friends!

    Veterans are sick and tired of all the digital signage games. I can always locate what I am searching for. I can tell you that since I hear it a good bit of the time yet this is not fool proof.

    Sometimes things just work out perfectly from start to finish and this was one of those times. Amazon had this unit for a fantastic price, $200 less then Walmart, $150 less then Best Buy 1080p LCD HDTV. I ordered it and took advantage of the super saving shipping which was FREE, was told to expect delivery in 8 to 10 business days, 2 days after placing my order the unit arrived, Fantastic! Love the shipping tracking feature on Amazon, complete with a "heads up" text message when delivery was about to be made. Setup was simple and fast. I already had a HD cable box so I just put the stand on the tv, hooked up a HDMI cable (not included) plugged the unit in and was finished. Picture is just great!! I played around with the Televisions features while going through the picture and audio setup and found it to be very easy to do plus the included owners manual which was on disc and paper was a nice touch. I wish all shopping experiences could go as well as this one did.

    I have literally following the prices of HDTV is now available for about a year, and no better time to upgrade! Samsung just his new series "C", and somehow they are significantly less expensive than existing models! Most websites selling this for $ 800 + HDTV, less than the low Amazon price is less than the rest of the market. I bought here on Amazon, and I have my HDTV in 5 days (would have four days, but I had school all day). CEVA has the shipping costs to my HDTV, I at first because I was treated only with UPS and FedEx, on guard. However, CEVA provides excellent customer service, and to contact me and given me oral administration. Packaging was very effective and easy to surprise!
