It comes with a six-quart polished stainless-steel bowl with a comfortable handle. Besides beaters you'll get a power-knead dough hook for bread and pizza crust making, a flat beater, and a wire whip. There are lots of accessories available for making your KitchenAid mixer even more powerful and useful! A great life-long investment. 
2. Cuisinart HM-70 Power Advantage
7-speed hand mixer
This hand held kitchen mixer is the most popular Cuisinart mixer, with chrome exterior. It has a 220-watt motor with seven speeds. A slide control shifts speeds with one touch. There's a convenient swivel cord and extra-long beaters with a beater ejection lever. Comes with a three-year warranty, spatula, recipe book, and whisk. Great for everything from whipped cream and egg whites to stiff cookie doughs!

This KitchenAid kitchen mixer isn't quite as powerful as the Professional or Artisan stand kitchen mixers, but still is very popular and of excellent quality. The motor is 250 watts. There are ten speeds just as on the other mixers, and a tilt-up head for easy access to the mixing bowl. The bowl is somewhat smaller - it holds 4+1/2 quarts, enough dough for two loaves of bread. This kitchen mixer comes with a dough hook, wire whip, and flat beater. There's also an instruction book with 67 recipes, and a one-year warranty.

Gorgeous!

My personal favorite - because I love the "Green Apple" color of this KitchenAid Artisan stand kitchen mixer! It comes with a five-quart capacity stainless steel mixing bowl, wire whisk, flat beater, and a great dough hook for your bread making needs. (Also perfect for pizza crust mixing!) There's a 325 watt motor and ten speeds, tilt-back head, and one-year warranty.

Economy and utility in a hand held kitchen mixer!
This Waring hand held kitchen mixer combines a great price with solid utility. There are two speeds and a blue backlit LCD speed/timer display on the handle. Very helpful! The motor is 250 watts and of course there are two large beaters that will get your kitchen mixing jobs done. Comfortable to use, compact, and lightweight. This might be the best choice if you're on a budget this year.

There's a three-year warranty and swivel cord to accommodate the needs of lefties as well as righties. If price, convenience, and utility are uppermost in your mind while you're shopping for inexpensive hand held kitchen mixers, I very much recommend this fine product from Cuisinart.

This is just like the other KitchenAid Artisan stand kitchen mixers on this list (see #5 and #7) however it is PINK as you can see, and is a fund-raiser for breast cancer research. With every purchase of this KitchenAid pink stand kitchen mixer KitchenAid gives fifty dollars to the Komen Foundation. So far KitchenAid raised more than one million dollars for the fight against breast cancer.
