Top Time Management Tips: Some Practical Points

In the late 1700s Benjamin Franklin wrote, " If you want to enjoy the greatest luxuries in life, of  having enough time to rest, think things through,  get things done and know that you have done them to the best of your ability, there is only one way. Take time to think and plan activities in order of their importance"

Time is one thing that we are all given in equal amounts but often misused. It is said that Our time is our life. If we waste our time, we waste our life!

Step 1: Do You Manage Your Time Well? 

The First Step is to Know whether you Require Time Management Tips!

Have an introspective study about your time management skills. Mark your self on the following scale for your time management capability:
Do you manage your time well?
1. I am indispensable. I find myself taking on many tasks because I am the only one who can do them.

2. Daily crisis takes up all my time. No time for important things as I have to put out fires!

3. I attempt to do too many things at one time. I feel I can do it all, and I rarely say no.

4. I feel unrelenting pressure, as if I am always behind & have no way to catch up.I am always rushing.

5. I am regularly working long hours,10-18 hours a day; 6-7 days a week.

6. I constantly feel overwhelmed by demands & details & feel that I have to do what I don't want to.

7. I feel guilty about leaving work on time, no time for rest and family. I take worries& work home.

8. I constantly miss deadlines.

9. I am plagued by fatigue and listlessness with many slack hours of unproductive activity.

10. I chronically vacillate between unpleasant alternatives.
