Well this is the nearest you are likely to get, with the Air Swimmers Floating Shark. It was a real hit at the 2011 Toy Fair, and I think that this has a lot to do with the wow factor that this toy has.

The Air Swimmer does need a bit of assembly, so do not leave it until Christmas morning, but it is fairly straight forward, and there are videos available to walk you through it. But this is a small thing when it is such a fun toy. You do need to purchase helium for it, but this can be done at a card shop or any place that sells it for inflating foil balloons, or a disposable small tank can be bought.
