10 Free Things to Do at Disney World Florida

Not everything worth doing has to be paid for on Disneyworld Florida holidays. There are many things you can do free of charge that will further the experience of being there. Here's a list of the best 10.

Firstly, visit downtown Disney World. This is a bit of a given but in case you weren't sure, this is definitely something worth doing. Access is free and there are many shops to go in to and events to watch. There are various Lego sculptures dotted around such as the snoozing man. However be sure to bring a sunhat and water because downtown Disney is notoriously hot.

There's also a trivia quiz at the Art of Disney store every day with tonnes of prizes on offer if you give enough correct answers, so pop in.

Following on nicely from the first attraction, number two is a boat ride. A particularly popular one is from Dixie Lands to Downtown Disney. Take this trip at night, rock up downtown and take a stroll before getting the boat back to your car at Dixie Lands.

Number three on the list is the campfire at Fort Wilderness. Providing you're staying at a Disney World hotel it's free. Head down there (it's near the Meadow trading post) and take your own marshmallows to hold over the fire. There's usually always a good group song to sing as well.

Number four is once again at Fort Wilderness. The nature trails there are worth checking out, in particular at Cypress Woods. You can walk for free or hire a bike.

The fifth item is the last one from Fort Wilderness. You should visit the petting farm there; it's free fun for all, in particular the kids.

Number six is short and sweet - go tour the garden at the Yacht & Beach Club Resort.

Seven - take a walk along the boardwalk, preferably in the evening. There's a lot of street entertainment and a great atmosphere.

Number eight is an overlooked gem at Disney World. There's a long line of barges at the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake that at night, are part of a lights show. You can see it from Grand Floridian, and it's a definite must.

Nine - watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom from the beach at either Polynesian or Grand Floridian, providing you tell the guard you're going to the hotel caf

Lastly, take a tour of the Wilderness Lodge. It's free and definitely worth doing.

Many including me weren't aware that the best things about Disney World are free. Disneyworld Florida holidays doesn't have to cost the earth with this list of free things you can do.

Best Beaches to Visit in Turkey

The Turkish coastline is amongst the most beautiful and unspoiled in all of Europe and as you would expect, therefore provides an excellent selection of beaches throughout the country for tourists and visitors to come and enjoy a great summer holiday experience. Which many holidaymakers will do as searches for Turkey holidays are proving among the top choices for summer holiday spots.

It is reassuring to know that Turkey has a large number of beaches that currently qualify for Europe's highly sought after "blue flag" rating - an official recognition from the EU that the beach and its surrounding area qualifies as being rated amongst the highest possible standards in terms of its water quality, sand cleanliness and general all round maintenance that therefore make it stand out above other locations of its kind in the continent.

The beach at Patara is often considered amongst Turkeys finest - and provides the visitor with an extremely long (around 12 miles in fact) of high quality sandy beach to explore. It is only a small distance from the local village at Patara but is rarely busy as hotel rooms in the surrounding area are relatively hard to come by and there are archaeological controls in place restricting further industrial development.

If you prefer something a little livelier then perhaps Turkey's best known beach can be found at eniz alongside numerous hotels, bars and restaurants. This is well known in turkey as a fantastic stretch of the Mediterranean coastline, but can be more crowded as it tends to attract larger volumes of tourists - particularly in the summer months.
