      Tiddledewinks, I can sympathized with your plight. It took me time, quite a lot of learning, and a bunch of work to earn from affiliate programs but it is definitely possible. It's really a lot like promoting your lenses in general. Pick a good topics/niches, add unique and useful content, "optimize" your page, then do all you can to promote it through forums, articles, social sites, etc. Then, don't give up, just keep plugging away. Many, many people fail...but often it's because they don't learn what they need to learn or simply give up too soon. Squidoo is a great place to learn more. If you don't follow him I recommend reading Captain Squid/Loyalis' stuff.
