A New Cosmo Topper?
The original 1937 film starred Roland Young as Cosmo Topper, a stuffy, henpecked bank executive haunted by two mischievous ghosts who—until their untimely demise—reigned as the bank's largest stockholders. Cary Grant and Constance Bennett were brilliantly cast as the fun-loving married couple, George and Marion Kerby. In the remake, the couple's names have been changed to George and Mimi Kirby.
At this time, Steve Martin is the only actor attached to the film, and no production start date has been announced. Stay tuned!

This DVD includes two movies: the original "Topper" and the second sequel, "Topper Returns." I own this DVD and am quite impressed with the quality of both films. I've watched the colorized version of "Topper Returns" on VHS and the movie is plagued with audio and video dropouts. These films are presented in their original black & white versions; run time: 184 minutes.
