The New Political Battle Ground
It all began when the Orwellian anti-Hillary advert Vote Different appeared online in March 2007. Youtube and other video sharing have becoming the new political battle ground. In this new political arena, the candidates' are reshaped via ,ads, smear videos spoofs, sketches and songs. A big fund is not necessary to participate in this battle ground because virtually anybody can post their own political video online.
Of course, the influence of online videos are not limited to influencing the minds of voters. The web is also a good medium for spreading a word about various political issues. Messages on energy independence, war, global warming, abortion, and other issues have also spread on the Internet.

These political videos are designed to inform and convince people to join a cause or stance on various political issues. These videos are common nowadays since the election is just months away.
Currently, both the GOP and the Democratic nominees are releasing political web ads to bolster support for their campaign and to attack each other's weaknesses.

These political videos are meant to inform the viewers about the events that took place ion various political arenas. New laws, controversies, war and other issues that need to be spread are part of these videos.
Political Satire Videos
These videos are designed to be amusing but they also carry a political message. They show the absurdity and flaws of certain political stances through exaggeration.
Political Opinion Videos
These political videos present a particular person's or group's opinion on a certain political issue. These videos are often created to promote a certain view of the issue.
Political Music Videos
These political videos are music videos with a political theme. These videos may be made to promote a certain cause or candidate but they may also attack or ridicule a campaign.
