Over 250,000 bulls are tortured
Every year on Novemeber 13th in the three towns of Soria, Spain and unspeakable event happens. The Spanish festival is known as Toro Jubilo, translated means bull on fire. This is a sadistic and unforgivable event that need to STOP! The residents affix balls of flammable tar to the horns of these innocent terrified, restrained bulls. The balls of tar are then set on fire and then animals are released to run madly through the cities. These bulls are left to burn in agony for hours. The tar burns like a bonfire on their heads, scorching their face, eyes and bodies. The bulls are blinded and run into walls and anything else that they come across. The carcasses are later divided among the participants.
Can you imagine having a bonfire of tar above your head and having it drip all over you for hours? An innocent creature that is massacred for a festival! There are people in Spain that are embarrassed of this festival and want it to end. Do the participants of this act not realize that the world is watching? They are damaging the reputation of the Spanish people who are now seen as barbaric, sadistic and inhumane. We as human beings have a voice to STOP this dreadful, disgusting act. Boycott Spanish tourism until the bloody festivals are banned. Please take a minute of your time and sign the petition to END the BULL ON FIRE.
