Hotels in Torres del Paine National Park Chile

Despite being at the end of the earth, Torres del Paine has a surprisingly good range of hotels, from the island charm of Hostería Lago Pehoé to the laid-back indulgence of Hotel Salto Chico.

Hostería Lago Pehoé

Small island hotel with mind-blowing views

Lago Pehoe Hostel is a very cute 45-room hotel on a five-hectare island in the middle of Lake Pehoe. Access is via a long wooden bridge.

Many of the rooms have almost exactly the same spectacular view as the very much more expensive Hotel Salto Chico. Inside it's less luxurious though, but still comfortable. All rooms are ensuite and nicely furnished.

Hotel Salto Chico

Oasis of style and comfort set in one of the world's most spectacular landscapes

Some people say that the best view of Torres del Paine is from Hotel Salto Chico, because then you can't see Hotel Salto Chico. Although in truth, the hotel's brutal utilitarian exterior is thankfully hidden from most of the Park.

Inside, it's a different story, soft-colored wood and softer furnishings are a foil to the jaw-dropping Cordillera del Paine outside. It's let in through large panoramic windows, which also frame the impressive Salto Chico Waterfall on the other side of the hotel.

Soft adventure excursions take guests riding, hiking, driving and sailing into the drama and wind of Torres del Paine, but back in time to enjoy the sauna, open-air hot tub or indoor swimming pool and dinner in the excellent Salto Chico Restaurant.

Hosteria Lago Grey

Lakeside comfort and glacier views

This attractive little hotel is at the Southern end of Lago Grey. Views are pretty good, with icebergs in the foreground and Glacier Grey in the background.

Simple rooms come as singles, doubles and triples, all en suite. There's also a restaurant, a bar, and a deck. Plus internet access.

The hotel can be reached by the road from Puerto Natales. The Hosteria runs hiking trips in the surrounding areas.
