Toshiba REGZA 42RV530U 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV Review
Pros:* Awesome picture even on default settings. Crisp and clear.
* Blu-ray simply awesome. Upconverted DVD looks great too.
* Easy setup. Has plenty tweaking options.
* Plenty of connections. 4 HDMI, 2 component, 1 VGA, 2 composite, 1 S video and 1 optical audio out.
* Each input source can have their own unique picture settings.
* Good price!
* SD channels look pleasant.
* Good sound quality and has stable sound/sound leveling feature which maintains volume within a preset range regardless of the source signal. So when those annoyingly loud commercials come on, they won't be any louder than what you were just watching.
* Pretty good remote and easy to navigate menus.
* Very useful mute feature. Press the mute button and it cuts the volume in half, press it again for a full mute, press again to unmute completely.
* Aesthetically appealing design.
* The game mode is very useful.
Cons:
* Input label names are preset so you can't use your own defined names.
