Total Gratitude - Law Of Attraction Examples

There are many books explaining the effects our thoughts have on the universe and our lives. After receiving and reading The Secret as a gift, I started wondering if it would work for me.

Wondering is all I did for a long time. I believed what I was reading, was sold on the idea while I was reading it, but it would soon slip my mind.
Some days I would try it out for the rest of the day. Ok maybe I kept at it for possibly the rest of the hour, then daily life took over and I would let it go. I did not give it a chance.

Now my husband on the other hand seemed to be doing better at reading sections almost daily, and I began to feel left out. You see I noticed he seemed more content and positive, which only highlighted my negative actions.

I have been reading a few books and trying out the what you think is what you get theory.

I have been trying various experiments for a while now and getting amazing results.

When I am down and feeling negative, you know what happens to me.
I meet negative people, nothing achieved, and situations seem to get worse.

When I remember to think positively and most of all am grateful for things in my life, when I say thank you and mean it, things start to change.

I will keep you updated with what if any changes start to happen in my life.

We are living in a small village in Spain surrounded by mountains. I love it here; however, it is very isolated. We have been looking for a car so that we can explore further than our legs can take us. It is not an easy quest to find a cheap second hand car. After 6 months of looking (seriously there are just not many cars available) we began to think we will have to either give in, buy a 4x4 or learn how to ride a mule.

Well this seemed like the perfect situation to put into practice what I have been learning.

For the last month, I have been doing the following:

1) Every morning when I get up I repeat 'Thank you' as I walk around the house getting ready for at least 5-10 minuets. - I admit to forgetting a couple of mornings.

2) I put it out into the universe that we have a car that is in our price range and perfect for our needs.

3) I could see us driving a car.

4) Most importantly, I reminded myself how grateful I am for everything I had

I wish this lens had been published last month, but again I was not sure of the results, I was not truly letting myself believe.

SO, can you imagine my amazement when I got a phone call (yes they contacted us) saying that they thought we might be interested in owning a car and would we like to look at the one they have for sale.

Both my husband and I decided that we would love it, but we will let the universe decide it this is the one for us.

We are guessing it is the one because instead of our normal stressing over things we calmly allowed the slow Spanish way to unfold and we now as of yesterday own a Ford Escort.

Universe please help me find a way to earn money on the internet. Wow, now it is out there twice.

I needed a plan of action. Strange really, because I love to make lists and wouldn't you think that would make me a good planner? Nope, so from my list I have made a plan.

1) Continue with the 5 - 10 minutes of saying thank you - Yep, the thank you, thank you every morning - it really helps me feel positive.

2) I put out to the universe that I am going to have ample income flowing to me from working at home using the internet. (You could say an amount a month/year - but for now, I will go with ample, as that should cover it)

3) Remember to be grateful for the things I already have.

4) Yummy, I am imagining spending this money

I have taken a deep breath and started research on the internet. It did not take me long to start getting confused so another list is formed this time called 'getting my act together'.
Every time I found something new, I entered it on my 'getting my act together' list.
Now it is time for me to take action on what I have learnt.

Unlike the car request I have put this one out before it has been answered, however I have been thinking about it for a couple of weeks. During that time, I have discovered some wonderful resources to help me on my way.

So how will I do? I will let you know soon; in the meanwhile I will act upon my newfound knowledge and with a grateful heart see where it takes me.

If you have read my above post you will know that I asked the Universe to show me the way to earn money on the internet and that I will receive an ample cash flow.

So, after a struggle with research of how to do it - basically I had been struggling with this one for many years - I came across some help and guidance that led me to look at affiliate marketing. (Yes, I know a lot of you folks are already affiliate marketers but I really did not understand anything about it.)
I read as much as I could find - believe me there is a lot to read! Then settled on an idea and plowed forward with my limited but enthusiastic approach.

After lapsing with my Gratitude and Thank-You's due to hectic learning and typing I got back into reminding myself to do this again.

Then to my surprise 2 weeks after starting my new venture, I got a sale! $38.85 - You may think this is a mere pittance - I see it as a good sign that the flow of ample cash is indeed possible.
I also go 3 Amazon sales on one of my Squidoo lenses this week - $1.48 to me.

All is off to a good start. I am still working on Gratitude and Thanks.

The money is starting to flow.
I made my first sale on the internet using the power of the universe!

December 2009. I am in a happy state of shock that this is working! My 2nd experiment was a big one for me because requesting a flow of money when I am in a small Spanish village that does not provide enough jobs for the locals at first seemed impossible.

However, once I had put it out to the world and started saying thank you and imagining the flow of money things started to change. I found a way to make money online but was having to push the negative thoughts away. Everything I read in forums suggested that only a few people make any money on the internet so I can tell you it was hard at first to really believe that it would work.

After a lot of research and learning, I began to feel more positive. Then money started to flow! Well more of a trickle at first but enough to help me believe and continue.

It was also impossible to ignore the fact that when I was feeling negative and did not use the power of the law of attraction the flow of money would abruptly stop. Yet it would start again when I once again was grateful, believed, and thanked the universe.

*** UPDATE *** January 2010

I can now report that since I have started this experiment I have made over $3000 - yes maybe a drop in the ocean to some but the bulk of it I earned in the last two months. I truly believe that this will continue to increase provided I continue using the power of the universe to answer my dreams.

*** UPDATE *** March 2010

I am so grateful because the money is still flowing to me. I still notice that on days when I feel negative or forget to say thank you the money stops flowing, I feel down and things just stop going my way.

I then have to re read some of the information I have and get back into the right frame of mind. Within days of getting back on track the money starts to flow again - amazing!

Ok, so I am not rich yet :-) but the money really helps us out and I have just been approached and given a way to get $6000 in the next month! Thank you, Thank you!
