The Total fishing gear gear tackle range was developed by by two people Matt Hayes and Simeon Bond. Everyone knows Matt Hayes we have all seen him on Total Fishing even if you dont fish. Simeon and Matt have been friends for a very long time . In the 90s, when Simeon was a manager for Shimano he he employed Matt as a fishing consultant and in so doing started Matt's TV presenting career that would see him hit the pinnacle of the TV angling tree with shows like Total Fishing where you can see him using Baitboats and the like
When he figured it was time to produce his own fishing tackle in the form of TFG he did not have a second thought aboutpersuading Simeon to join him and hence Matt Hayes fishing tackle was born Total Fishing Gear
