Acoustic Guitar Lessons Online

Neil Hogan started playing the guitar when he was 8 years old. By the age of 14 he was teaching the guitar. He went on to study music in college and continued to absorb any and everything guitar or music related, all the while making his living as a private guitar instructor.
He has mastered the unusual skill of understanding how individual students learn, and is able to explain and demonstrate skills and techniques to people in terms that can take complicated concepts and make them very clear and easy to comprehend.
He has recorded CDs of his solo arrangements of many popular pieces, including an album of Beatles tunes, A Beatles Collection, and one of American standards by the great Tin Pan Alley songwriters, Yesterday's News, as well as 3 discs of his own intricate compositions, On The Horizon, Cobble Creek, and El Dorado.
He has enjoyed performing and collaborating with some of the greatest guitarists of our day, John Renbourn, Keola Beamer, and Laurence Juber, as well as his favorite songwriter, Al Stewart.
Neil is very excited about bringing his experience and expertise to the online world here at Totally Guitars, and thrilled at the thought of being able to help guitar players globally, rather than just those he could reach in his own studio.
