You Are Invited To Play With Atletico Lenca Soccer Club In Honduras

For Elite Soccer Players Who Want To Play Professional Soccer

Play On The Team Whose Vision Is To Play In The Intercontinental Cup

Are you good, really good? Do you want to play professionally but don't have the contacts you need? Have you finished college or reached your playing potential where you are? Would you like a chance to move to MLS but there is no pathway to follow? MLS is recruiting in Honduras all the time. Come to Honduras and play and get the support you need to move to MLS or even to Europe.

Playing professional is very different from college. MLS players are being recruited worldwide. That means that you will be challenged by players like Beckham and Zidane. Coming from college in the USA will just not prepare you for the rough, tough world of world class professional soccer MLS is becoming. You need seasoning in a different soccer tradition.

Come to Honduras and gain the experience you need in Latin American Run and Gun soccer. It's a no mercy, take no prisoners approach to playing soccer that can prepare you for the world of international soccer. It's tough, it's rough and it will either make you or break you. It all depends on what is in you.

Come to Honduras and gain the experience you need in Latin American Run and Gun soccer. It's a no mercy, take no prisoners approach to playing soccer that can prepare you for the world of international soccer. It's tough, it's rough and it will either make you or break you. It all depends on what is in you.

You will play against Honduran players with legs of iron. Many of them have never been trained. What they learned they learned in the villages and in the streets. They are hungry for the ball and for the chance to show the world what they can do. Soccer is the only way they have to make it. The play all out and they play to win. You will master the same style of play or you just won't make the cut to professional play.

Honduran Players Develop In The Same Hard School As Pele

There were no soccer moms, no SUVs, no travel teams. No fruit and juice at halftime. No coaching supporting them. No parents giving them high fives. Most of the time their parents do not bother to come and see them play. No one taught them anything. They watched their fellows take the ball and decided they could do that too. They played with bottles, with plastic bags, whatever. Cleats? Only a dream. Many play barefoot, in rubber boots and torn sneakers. But they play. They learn. And they play well. No one helps them. It's sink or swim, fish or cut bait.

Only A Few Make It To Official Teams Like Atletico Lenca

Only a few were good enough to make it to be on a team. The Liga Mayor Esperanzana? No, they play in their communities, on field of pure mud (See Some Young Players On A Mud Field). When you grown up playing on this type of field, you learn to play in a hard school. The players that rise here are the result of natural selection. That's how Pele developed. No help, no coaching, no support. They simply surfaced from the farmlands of these mountains, playing soccer after walking up and down hills all day in their fields. Some walk 3 hours to get to these muddy fields, play two full 90 minute games, they walk another 3 hours up and down the mountain to go home. In the dark. Without a flashlight. They play all out. It's no holds barred. Are you up to it? Can you play alongside these tough mountain boys? If you can play here and win you can play soccer anywhere in the world.

Atletico Lenca Has Just Begun To Grow

Atletico Lenca is a soccer team located in La Esperanza, Honduras. It is a relatively new team in Honduras and is made up mostly of Lenca Indians and mestizos. The Lencas are legendary for their endurance. Campesinos may walk for two to three hours up and down hill, play in one or more game of 90 minutes and then walk back home.

Atletico Lenca is from a country of only 6 million people and there are probably about 100,000 people in the area from which Atletico Lenca is drawn.
Our Goals Are No Less Than To Win The Intercontinental Cup!
