Clear or White Liner Tape
Great for daily application.
Clear tape, also known as white tape is perfect for daily application of hair systems. It is the most universal style of toupee tape and offers much less tack than other styles. Clear tape was developed by 3M as one of the first tapes specially designed for hair replacement. Red Liner tape has more tack than White tape, but can still be great for daily application and it can bond very secure for up to 3 days as well. Pro Flex tapes offer the highest amount of tack out of any tape and can bond anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks. This type of toupee tape has the second most tack available and can keep your hair systen on tight for up to 3 weeks. This type of tape was originally designed for lace systems because of its high levels of tack, but it is also great for extended wear hair systems. Cloth tape is a double sided tape built on cloth. It provides a great adhesion but it more detectable than other tapes and thus is no recommnded for lighter densities, C-Thru bases, or Lace designs. No Messy Residue tape is slightly greater in tack than red tape and should stay secure between 1 & 2 weeks. The liner of the tape is clear, similar to white tapes. No Messy Residue tape still generally does leave a slight residue, but it is less than you would normally get with other tapes.
