Brad is the author of the book "Front of the Class" pictured above in the Amazon links. He is also a motivational speaker......and a darn good one too!!

Here's a picture of Brad from his appearance on Oprah earlier this year.

This is a passage from his website about his motivational speaking....

"Growing up with Tourette Syndrome has given Brad many obstacles to overcome, but Brad always kept his dream alive of being the teacher he never had. His story is about perserverance and not giving up. He shows us all how he has taken the initiative and made the most of living with Tourette's."
Life's A Twitch
B. Duncan McKinlay is a psychologist in Ontario Canada.

"Through empathy, good humour, research, and both considerable personal and professional experience, Dr. McKinlay teaches acceptance of Tourette Syndrome and associated disorders in the world and in ourselves." (lifesatwitch.com)

Front of the Class: How Tourette Syndrome Made Me the Teacher I Never Had

Brad Cohen appeared on Oprah this past season (05/06) to discuss growing up with ts. After I saw the show I emailed Brad because his story was so touching and even more so since I had a lot of the very same difficulties as a kid. He's a super smart and sweet guy who wrote an awesome book that is inspiring to anyone who has a child with ts or has it themselves.
