Vote for the 2010 Inductees into the Hall of Fame
Here are the nominees for induction into the Toy and Hobby Hall of Fame for 2010. Voting opens on 7th April 2010 and closes on 31st December 2010. Votes cast here will be added to votes cast in our retail store and the two products with the highest number of votes will be inducted into the Toy and Hobby Hall of Fame. Below the poll, you'll find further information on each of the nominees and a guestbook, so you can comment on this year's nominations.
Nominee 1: Playmobil
Ever since the 1970s, Playmobil has wowed generations of children. It's a very, very special toy indeed and what's more it just seems to get better and better. Last year's Egyptian Playmobil releases were jaw-droppingly good. Could it get any better, we asked? Well it only took a quick glance at the new Fire Brigade, Construction and Safari sets for 2010 at Toy Fair this year to tell us, "yes it could".We're hugely proud, at Bus Stop Toy Shop, to be stockists of this iconic brand and we're proud to include it in this year's nominees for entry into our Toy and Hobby Hall of Fame.

Nominee 2: Bakugan
Bakugan nearly made it into the Hall of Fame for 2009 but was pipped out. It must be close to the biggest selling boy's toy world-wide right now and just seems to keep on going. Could Bakugan Battle Brawlers make it into the Hall of Fame this year? Only you can decide! Certainly the phenomenal products just launched for Bakugan Series 2 give it every chance. If you live in the United Kingdom, you can purchase a wide range of Bakugan products on the Bus Stop Toy Shop website.

Nominee 3: Pokemon Trading Card Game
The Pokemon Trading Card Game has been a firm favourite at Bus Stop Towers for years and really lost out on a coin toss to Yu-Gi-Oh! or it would already be in the Hall of Fame. With the release of Heart Gold/Soul Silver, what better time to vote it into our Hall of Fame? If you love Pokemon, give it your vote.Think you're a master trainer? Have you taken our Pokemon Quiz yet?
If you live in the United Kingdom, you'll find a wide range of Pokemon Trading Cards on the Bus Stop website.

Nominee 4: Mighty Beanz
Mighty Beanz have made a triumphant return in 2010. If you're a regular reader of the Bus Stop Toy Shop blog or our Facebook page, you'll know that I've tipped Mighty Beanz to be the pocket money hit of 2010. Whether I'm right or not, time will tell, but if you want Mighty Beanz to go into the Hall of Fame, give them your vote. You can find out more about Mighty Beanz on this squidoo lens.
Nominee 5: Toonz
Of course, Gogos' Crazy Bones have already made it into the Hall of Fame. Are we ready to welcome Toonz in 2010? Kind of like Crazy Bones goes Uber Cool with funky Holographic Faces, Toonz are already becoming a firm favourite in our retail store. The main question is do they have the longevity of Crazy Bones, to deserve a place in the Hall of Fame? Only you can decide that.Find out more about Toonz on this Squidoo Lens.
Nominee 6: K'Nex

Nominee 7: Whoozit
Manhattan Toy is one of our favourite toy manufacturers, and Whoozit is their signature line. Whoozit is just a phenomenally good toy, full of multi-sensory surprises for the curious baby. Surely this iconic toy deserves to be the first baby toy to make it into the Hall of Fame, doesn't it?If you live in the United Kingdom, you'll find a wide range of Whoozit toys on the Bus Stop Toy Shop website

Nominee 8: Corolle Dolls
There's something very, very special about a Corolle Doll, isn't there? Whether it's the attention to detail, the unique vanilla scent or the French chic of the clothes, they're simply great. The perfect doll for those who've been extra good, the Corolle range includes dolls suitable from birth to 3yrs+. If you'd like to see the stunning Corolle Dolls in the Hall of Fame, give them your vote!If you live in the United Kingdomyou can find a wide range of Corolle Dolls on the Bus Stop Website.

Nominee 9: Warhammer Fantasy Battles
Warhammer 40K has already found its way into the Hall of Fame, but will it be joined by it's big brother this year? In common with (I guess)every hobby store store that stocks GW products, WH40K outsells WHFB by a distance, but at Bus Stop Towers we have a dedicated group of Warhammer Fantasy players. Will they make it into the Hall of Fame? We'll see.You can find a huge range of Warhammer Fantasy products on the Bus Stop Website.
Nominee 10: Mecanno (Erector)
Meccano in Europe, Erector in the US. You say Tomato, I say Tomato, etc, etc. Whatever. Meccano is timeless. You can build everything from the monstrosities I used to build as a child, to prototypes for the enigma machine. Nowadays, roaring back into fashion, with classic kits and the uber-cool Spykee, Meccano rocks once more. For more on Meccano, see our dedicated Squidoo lens.

- For me, either Playmobile, or K-Nex are the most interesting on the list -- both of my boys played with both, and I loved them. But they also did some Warhammer game-playing.

- I loved Playmobil as a kid myself, and my own children are getting into it now. But then I love everything on the list - hence getting other people to pick a winner :)
