Brum: Soccer Hero and Other Stories
Brum is a little car that goes on lots of adventures when he goes to the "Big town". He helps out in many a crisis, such as helping a soccer team win the big match.
My son absolutely loves Brum and has done since he was about 18 months. It's good for younger and older toddlers alike because even though there's a narrator the stories are told through mime so your toddler doesn't have to understand all the language to understand the story. I love the catchy song at the end of each episode where the character in the shows dance, sing and perform at the end.
Peppa Pig: Muddy Puddles and Other Stories
Peppa Pig lives with Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig and her brother George. This is such a cute DVD. You can't help but laugh when you first watch the programmes when the little pigs snort. The first time we watched it my two year old also surprised me by snorting at the end of the programme which also made me laugh!! The stories are short and I think it has helped my two year old with his language development as the language is really simple and clear. He sometimes copies what the characters and the narrator are saying. This is my niece's favourite programme (she won't watch anything else). It's also my favourite toddler DVD . My son definitely loves it, but he probably loves Brum and Wall-ee more (See Below).
Wall-E (Single-Disc Edition)
Wall-e is by far my son's favourite DVD. If you ask him what he wants to watch he says Wall-e. He watched it for the first time when he was 20 months and I think the reason he liked it so much was because for the first 25 minutes of the film there's no language which means he understood everything that was going on. Obviously you don't want your child watching hours of TV but this is great as a one off treat. Or quite often my son will watch the first bit of the film and then we turn it off.

- The basketball goal should be weighted down. My grandson's falls over much to often. My daughter has three kids under 6 and does not have time to fill up the bottom with sand. But, it should have been done!
