TracRac
The original TracRac is a patented powder-coated aluminum rack system designed to fit any pickup. It's the only rack system that slides! The TracRac mounts damage-free into the stake pockets without drilling/bolting; it actually reinforces the truck's frame. Lightweight at just 77 pounds, the TracRac can carry a whopping 1,000 pound load. Overhead racks and accessories slide into position to suit cargo. TracRac is the only pickup rack system that is fully tested and certified by Ford, GM, and Chrysler -- reflecting the company's commitment to superior design and safety.
The TracRac System
The system consists of a pair of Base Rails, a pair of Overhead Racks and 4 Crossbar Tiedowns. This system ships in two boxes. It is comprised of one base rail part # and one overhead rack part #. Together they add up to the standard system. The racks can be repositioned or removed in seconds. The TracRac is 77 lbs. but boasts a beefy 1,000 lb. capacity. The system mounts without damage - no drilling! The base rails mount in the stakepockets for a safe and secure fit. The TracRac looks GREAT - anodized and powdercoated aluminum makes it 100% rust and corrosion free.To ensure a proper fit, the Original TracRac is sold in two parts -- base rails and overhead racks.
