The Reverse ETF..a list
handy to strike fast in todays event driven markets !

List of Inverse ETFs (Short ETFs / Bear ETFs)
Volatility Market
Inverse ETFs are a good way to bet or hedge your investments because they allow you to "bet " on a decline in a given sector without the problems involved in shorting the stock or the etf itself.
.What are these ?.....:well to start with: Sometimes there are no shares available to short on the best candidates for a short sale because the big hedge funds have scarfed up all the available shares to borrow.
Also there are carrying costs involved..if the etf pays a dividend..and you are short the etf you owe the dividend to the person on the other side of the trade...Some etfs have substantial dividends today..it is a cost..
So here is a handy dandy list of such Short ETFs so you will know the "play" when events or strategy arises..
Note: the term "ultra" does not mean extra good !!...
it refers to the etf tacking the underlying index moves x 2 [goes up twice the amount the underlying index declines..got that?? read it again...]
...these are for traders with high risk tolerance as they are by definition twice as volatile [or profitable].ETFs not labeled "ultra" go up the same amount as the underlying index declines.
So if you want to bet on a decline you go long [buy] and if you want to magnify the return [or loss if you are wrong] you can buy the ultra shares etfs
