Traditional Theme

When I got engaged I immediately started to picture my perfect wedding. I imagined my bridesmaids in navy strapless cocktail length gowns, with beautiful bouquets of roses, hydrangias, and thistle (after all I was marrying a Scottish man!). I wanted a church ceremony, with traditional vows, songs and readings. I wanted a traditional gown for myself, with a veil and a classic bouquet. I wanted elegance and a wedding party in formal attire.

What Invitation Wording will match the Theme?

When I stopped dreaming and started planning my perfect wedding, I soon realized that my marriage ceremony was going to have a Traditional theme. This was the theme that best suit my personality and my vision. Once I chose this theme, I began to easily choose all the details of my wedding. I quickly picked the attire, linens, vows, flowers, songs, food, and cake. But when it came to the picking the invitations, I was stumped. All the options for formats, types, styles, and wording was daunting! I knew I wanted our names, and the pace, date and time on the invitation, but I had no idea how to write an invitation that would match the traditional theme of our wedding.
