The news that the whole internet marketing world has been waiting for is finally here! John Reese has finished Traffic Secrets 2 the long awaited sequel to the massively successful traffic secrets course.

Yes it has been a long wait but the only reason it has been delayed is that John is the ultimate perfectionist and has been tweaking and testing it to make sure it is the ultimate guide to getting web traffic.

The other shocking thing is the price. I'm not allowed to tell you exactly how much right now (stay tuned) but as John has never been one to conform he has made it cheaper than the original, MUCH cheaper and will be affordable to all internet marketers no matter what level.

This is great news since the recent trend has been to charge huge amounts for courses in the IM world. Maybe this will start a newtrend where future products will be available to the newbie and not just established marketers.

So, how do you get traffic with out putting in an huge amount of time and effort while reducing the stress of it all? The one thing I can recommend is develop a system to use on a regular basis that fits your schedule and your temperment. If writing articles suits you then by all means do that. On the other hand if you're a whizz at SEO or other ways of getting traffic those might be the ones to pursue.

By that I mean you need to accomplish your traffic generating techniques on a regular basis. Whether that's hourly, daily or weekly you need to take action to get them done. Apply whatever traffic generating techniques and the results should be noticeable in as little as a few weeks.

Does getting or increase traffic to your site seem like mission impossible?

There are a lot of ways to get visitors to your site. Here are some of the top free and cheap techniques you can use:

- Use high traffic sites like eBay & Amazon to
send visitors to your site
- Start a blog
- Post to forums
- Write and submit articles
- Write press releases
- Post comments to other blogs
- Write a report and give it away
- Write an ebook
- Use PPC ads
- Start an affiliate program
- Publish your own ezine
- Obtain one-way backlinks from high ranking sites
- Get reciprocal links from other sites
- Use traffic exchanges
- Post to classified sites like CraigsList
- Formulate a squidoo lens
- Make a funny or informative video
- Try to arrange joint ventures
- Participate in giveaway events
- Search engine optimization
- Buy classified or solo ads in ezines
- Swap ads with other ezine publisher
- Use ad exchanges

That's 23 that I can think of just off the top of my head. Again I ask you how much time do you have in a day to generate traffic to your site? Just doing one or two of those in a day coupled with all of the other online, offline and home "stuff" you have to do everyday can be a daunting task. It's no wonder that 10's of thousands of websites expire every month.

Not only time consuming but costly also because you'll probably need to buy some manuals that explain the techniques above in terms you can use and understand in order to do it correctly. Using those methods above are proven to work. But, unfortunately the downside to using them is that they are very time consuming and require you to juggle a lot of activities.

Now if you're a full-time online marketer and you have the 10-12 hours a day to use the techniques above, then time is probably not a problem for you. But if you're a part-timer or a newbie just looking for a simple way to get your online business up and receiving visitors then those time consuming methods above may not work so well for you.

I suggest you pick one or two from the above list that you feel most comfortable with and use them exclusively until you can do them second nature. It's very important to master one or two before you move on to try others. The one thing you can do to make it a little easier on you is put some time into organizing your efforts by creating folders and spreadsheets to keep tract of what days and where you are doing your traffic generating tasks you're still have a lot of time and effort into it (and maybe very little traffic), plus the extra work you have to do from an organization standpoint.

Jeff's short presentation at John's event soon became part of internet marketing legend!
