Submitting your websites to the search enines is the most important and vital thing you should start with, almost of your traffic could come from the top three search engines which are in order Google, Yahoo and MSN, if you submit to these three search engines, you will get submitted to all of the 1000 or so other search engines out there, these three make up 90% of all searches on the internet.

Bare in mind that to be featured on these can take up to six months, but it is well worth it.

This is a great way to get targeted traffic to your site from like minded people, posting replies to peoples discussions on these types of discussion sites can greatly increase your traffic and as a bonus a lot of them pay you to post a discussion, to reply to a discussions and pay you for people replying to your discussion.
