List Building With TrafficExchanges

In the first training lens we discussed why you should use splash/squeeze pages, targeted toward the traffic exchange users, to improve your results. In this lens we will take it one step further and delve into list building.

So why do you need to build a list... well you don't have to, but if you are aiming for any kind of success in internet marketing you need to have a list. You can not find anyone who is successful in internet marketing or e-commerce without a list of leads, customers or members.

When you advertise a squeeze page (or lead capture page) you are offering people something for free in exchange for their contact details. If your offer is enticing enough this approach is a lot easier than getting people to buy/join directly from the traffic exchanges. In fact a good squeeze page will almost always out-perform a splash page or sales page.

Of course the real power is that you get people on your email list... so now you can start building a relationship with them (make them know. like and trust you), and you can present your offers to them as often as you like. This is much more effective than the one shot approach you get in the traffic exchanges, especially if you also brand yourself by adding your name and picture to your squeeze pages.

As we covered in the first training lens you need to target your offer to the traffic exchange users. Remember that they are opportunity seekers, small business, and work at home people. They are most likely looking for ways to make money online, ways to get more traffic to their sites + tools and information on how to do "it all".
