Strength And Toning Fitness

Training with weights may not always be a convenient option or you may simply prefer not to use them, but you still want to strength train . There are several very good options for you , but just remember the stronger you get the more reps you are going to need to do to maintain and increase your strength.

I have five exercise you can do without weight's that will help you get more fit. The first exercise is the push up. You can start out depending on your level of fitness, but I would suggest if you could to do between 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps. As you get stronger increase the reps.

The second exercise is the ab crunch. Lay flat on your back with your hands behind your head and gradual raise into the sitting position, form is the important thing. It is better to do 10 with great form then 50 with poor form, and be careful not to jerk the neck as you raise.

The third exercise is the squat. It sounds just like what it is. Helps to tone the legs and behind, and again I would start out with 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps.

The fourth exercise is the lunge one foot forward the knee over the foot, keeping your balance my not seems as easy as it might appear. This is also a toning and strengthen exercise .

And the fifth is jogging or walking on a trend mill, this tones and builds cardio endurance. Cardio helps to shed extra weight, and build a stronger healthier heart.
